Books: Lovely Stories with Deep Meaning School reads, which I´ll, probably, still enjoy even when retired. You simply can´t get tired of these books. The sweetest (sometimes bittersweet) stories with the deepest meeting. For those who can read between lines…
Books: Lovely Stories with Deep Meaning
- “The Little Prince” by Antoine de Saint-Exupery
This book is simply too sweet not to like it. I don´t know whether I enjoyed it more at school or once all grown up.
- “To Kill a Mockingbird” by Harper Lee
One of my favorite books. A classic of American Literature and a story told with a voice of a ten-year-old child. Sadly, multiple social problems in this book remain essential nowadays.
- “Jonathan Livingston Seagull” by Richard Bach
Another favorite book of mine. Will not even tell what it´s about. The answer is different for everyone.
- “The Diary of a Young girl” by Anne Frank
I read this book after visiting the Anne Frank museum in Amsterdam, which I liked I lot. Some argue whether this girl actually wrote this diary – don´t know, maybe. But, for sure there were many girls living Anne Frank´s story during the Second World War.
