5 Books To Discover Your Inner Artist. Why and how to start? As an experience, the painting might change your life and mindset…

Painting brings joy and peace, embraces creativity, improves concentration, promotes knowledge of various cultures, brings self-confidence and a positive mindset. People who immerse themselves in several hours of painting abstract themselves from their surroundings. Like many other creative hobbies, painting helps you to bring a form to your feelings and then face them. Besides, “being creative” and “creating” is the only way to leave our world more beautiful as we found it.

Painting classes are a great way to learn, but if you don’t have a chance to attend a class and seek for a professional advice, or simply don´t want to – you still can learn the basic technics, practice and enjoy the process. Since I´ve started my painting classes, I´ve realized it was not enough and wanted to educate myself more on the topic of drawing. I´ve analyzed tones of books and now can claim with all certainty that these five books are the best for the beginners (and not only). They definitely might help you, as they did help me.

  • Drawing Lessons from the Great Masters by Robert Beverly Hale
  • Keys to Drawing by Bert Dodson
  • The Ultimate Book of Drawing by Barrington Barber
  • Pencil Drawing Techniques by David Lewis
  • The Drawing Book by Sarah Simblet

With love,
