My Top 10 Spanish Cities
One of the most beautiful cities in Spain, on my view. Walk along the old city and the sealine of the “Playa de la Concha”. Head all the way up to Monte Igueldo for the most amazing panoramic view. Don’t miss the famous “pintxos” on the streets of the San Sebastian old city.
2.Santiago de Compostella
The city is mostly known as a final stop of the Route of St.James (“El Camino de Santiago”), the longest pilgrimage route in Europe, with the most spiritual meaning and picturesque views. The Cathedral is quite impressive. I´m still looking for the right moment to do this trail (most likely, a part of it), cause the north of Spain simply has the most amazing and green nature.
Madrid is one of my favorite cities in the world. From its beautiful architecture, huge boulevards, unique museums and gardens, you immediately feel you´re in the “royal capital”. I´ve already been to Madrid like 100 times and it still attracts me with it´s cultural life, fascinating buildings, gastronomic diversity and never-ending list of places to visit.
Toledo is a magical city full of history. It is also the spiritual capital of Spain, so of course the Saint Mary cathedral is fascinating, one of the most beautiful i´ve been to. Don’t miss the views from Mirador del Valle.

The hot southern Sevilla compared to any northern city in Spain – feels like visiting another country. Weather, people, Andalucia´s lifestyle – it is something unique and worth experiencing. Don’t miss the view from Torre Giralda.
The medieval city, famous for its University, Art and History. Salamanca is an ultimate cultural destination, full of ancient buildings, beautiful cathedrals and historical sights.
Experience the authentic Flamenco and visit one of the 7 Wonders of the World – La Alhambra de Granada. Buy the Alhambra tickets in advance.
Pamplona is known all across the globe for the San Fermin, the running of bulls. As somebody who lived in this beautiful city for a while, I can assure you: during San Fermin Pamplona loses its original face. It is one of the most clean, green and peaceful Spanish cities. With its tiny old streets, artisan shops, art galleries and delicious gastronomic culture – Pamplona is definitely worth visiting.
