These two months of bouncing up and down on a trampoline have definitely strengthened my muscles and made me addicted to intense cardio workouts. This trampoline workout called Jumping Fitness is a low impact, high energy workout, which increases balance, coordination and leg strength while taking place on a trampoline. It is also a fun alternative to regular workouts and a great routine for all the dance lovers.
The first class I couldn’t catch my breath and my calves were on fire…lol But the catchy music and the energy of my awesome trainer Monica from Bougis kept me going. And aside from a fast rhythm, the workout moves were relatively easy to repeat. Another cool fact: our group had people of different ages, weight, and gender – which was even more fun.
The most surprising thing about jumping was the absence of muscle soreness. I could feel my legs tired the next day, but no ache whatsoever. It has never happened to me before with any other fitness routine.
Jumping is my only way of burning up to 1200 calories in a class, while still having fun.
