Dream Big No Matter What…

We all tend to forget the importance of “never stop dreaming”. Life might go hard on us sometimes: what we have is not always what we want and what we do is not always what we wish to be doing. But it doesn’t mean the story ends here. Like John Lennon said: “Everything will be okay in the end. If it’s not okay, it’s not the end.”

Dreaming big is a key to my 3 personal Rules of Happiness:

1. I never lose. I either win or learn.

Everything comes for a reason. The trick here is that we understand the reason when the actual problem is long gone. When I look back to the problems and challenges I´ve been through, only now do I understand how they´ve actually helped me. Only through challenges, you realize what you´re really capable of. You rediscover yourself. You appreciate things and people you took for granted before. Everything is a lesson, whether you like it or not, whether you succeed or fail. You either win or learn.

2. Life is 10% of what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it.

Don´t forget that your attitude is everything. Sometimes when things don´t turn out the way you want them to, it is just hard to stay positive. I always say to myself that “nothing is forever and a new day will come” and it always does. Of course, you can´t always be happy about everything. However, focusing on good things and doing good for others definitely brings more good back to you. Moreover, things are good or bad because we put these tags on them. So no matter what you´re going through: if you choose to see your life in a positive way, one day you´ll wake up realizing the best is yet to come. And so it will be.

3. It is never too late for me to set another goal or dream a new dream.

This is the most important rule of all. No matter what the others say or think, it is never too late to set another goal or dream a new dream. Only you know what is right for you. Listen to your inner voice, always. Read these words of John Updike: “Dreams come true; without that possibility, nature would not incite us to have them.” If you have a dream – you have the power to make it come true. And if you realize your dreams have changed or evolved, it is completely fine. Just choose a new dream and start chasing it. What is the purpose of life if not making our dreams come true?! Always believe in yourself… Dream Big No Matter What!

With love,
