Benefits of  Standup Paddle Boarding: It´s been already two years since I´ve discovered SUP/ Standup Paddleboarding. Now every spring/summer I´m waiting for a good weather to start cruising on my board. Relatively easy and fun, SUP also has numerous health benefits… besides, being on the water is always calming, plus you get some vitamin D.

I first tried SUP two years ago during my trip to Lanzarote, Canary Islands. The class at SUPLANZAROTE  was so awesome that I bought myself a board back home. And, honestly, I believe it´s one of the coolest water sports to do here, at the Mediterranean coast of Spain. The weather is awesome and the sea is almost always smooth.

  • full body workout
  • improving balance and endurance
  • reducing stress and engaging with nature
  • and even a cardio workout (if you race with friends or go cruising on a windy day)

SUP always has the most positive effect on my mood. Freshwater is calming and exploring is never boring and at the end – you get a nice tan and workout, all in one. And, by the way – I have an inflatable board, so its also easy to store.
